The flats Tourist Homes Monastero are two, at the foots of the Rahetian Alps, in a quiet historic hamlet immersed in the green of the above forests.
In a very comfortable and cozy renovated house, we have obtained two independent tourist flats, suitable to host up to four to six people, each in its own maximum well-being, with a wonderful panorama on the green of lower Valtellina.
The furniture is new and modern and the rooms are wide and comfortable or spending an unforgettable holiday in full relax and serenity, or dedicating to excursions and sport activities.

Il Frumento ("The Wheat") is a shop mainly of foods and wines from Valtellina (our valley) that esteems and wants to spread the tradition of local products of the Sondrio's province, by selling artisan specialities made by small quality producers.
You will find a small wine shop, honey, local sweets (the "bisciola", biscuits, sweets), local beers and other food products with the flavour of the Alps and Italy, to consume in the family or to give as an original present.
Also, this shop is an information point just at the beginning of the Walter Bonatti's path, with maps and tips for trekking in one of the most beautiful panoramic track of the Rahetian Alps.

This path, named after the great alpinist, explorer and writer Walter Bonatti, is a 25-km trekking path that starts just from the former Walter's house at Monastero di Dubino (290 m), culminates at the Calvo's pass (2740 m) and finishes at Bagni (Spa) di Masino (1172 m); it unrolls along the Mount Bassetta ridge, the Ratti's valley and the Bagni di Masino valley, on the Italian side of the Western Rahetian Alps..
This route (well signalled, panoramic and popular) is usually covered in two days, with an overnight stay at the hut Bivacco Primalpia.
This path, due to its length, requires training, adequate alpine gear and experience: it is a deserved homage to a Man that, after having explored virgin and wild lands in each continent, decided to settle right here at Monastero of Dubino.
